【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversclimbingharnessesforuseinthesportsofrock,ice,andsnowclimbing.Itestablishesrequirementsforthetesting,performance,andmarkingofclimbingharnessesandfortheinstructionsthataresuppliedwiththem.Thisspecificationmaycontaintestmethodsthatdonotentirelysimulatereal-lifeclimbingsituations.Thetestmethodsaredesignedtogivereproducibleresultsinalaboratoryand,thereby,ameansforproductcomparison.Threetypesofharnessesarecoveredbythisspecification:fullbodyharnesses,sitharnesses,andchestharnesses.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.
