【摘要】:Sincetearresistancemaybeaffectedtoalargedegreebymechanicalfiberingofthemembraneunderstress,aswellasbystressdistribution,strainrate,andsizeofspecimen,theresultsobtainedinatearresistancetestcanonlyberegardedasameasureoftheresistanceundertheconditionsofthatparticulartestandnotnecessarilyashavinganydirectrelationtoservicevalue.Thistestmethodmeasurestheforcerequiredtotearareinforcedgeomembranealongareasonablydefinedcoursesuchasthatthetearpropagatesacrossthewidthofthespecimen.Thevaluesmayvarybetweentypesofreinforcementusedwithinageomembrane.Thetonguetearmethodisusefulforestimatingtherelativetearresistanceofdifferentreinforcingtextilesordifferentdirectionsinthesamereinforcingtextiles.Disputes8212;Incaseofadisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingthistestmethodforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandthesuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticaldifferencebetweentheirlaboratories.1.1Thistestmethodcoversauniformprocedurefordeterminingthetearstrengthofflexiblegeomembranesinternallyreinforcedwithatextile,usingthetonguetearmethod.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
